"Finish That Series" Challenge | "Read Your Own Books" Challenge

The Finish That Series Challenge is hosted by Alaine and the ladies at Royal Reviews

I have tons of books that are part of ongoing and/or completed series, so this challenge is necessary (and helpful) for me.

Guidelines:

With this challenge you count series completed, not books read. Any genre counts. Challenge begins January 1st thru December, 2010.

There are four levels:

1. Curious – Finish 2 series.
2. Fascinated – Finish 3 series.
3. Addicted – Finish 5 series.
4. Obsessed – Finish 10 series.

At this point, I'm aiming for Fascinated. The series that I've picked are:

The Bridgertons series by Julia Quinn (Books 6-8)
Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead (Books 3-6)
Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole (Books 3-9)
Total # of series: 3
Total # of books: 14

I chose series that I'm absolutely sure that I want to continue reading and that I have at least 3 more books to read in order to catch up. I'm including in the count books that are to be published later this year.

Completed:

1. Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night (IAD, 3) by Kresley Cole
2. Dark Needs at Night's Edge (IAD, 4) by Kresley Cole

Guidelines:

Pick a number of books you’d like to read in one year.
Choose those books from your OWN collection.
Read them between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010.
Re-Reads are NOT allowed (the challenge is to get more of your own books read that have been sitting there waiting!)
Audiobooks & e-books ARE allowed

I've decided to aim for 9 which is, theoretically, one per month from my starting point of April.

Wish me luck!!

Completed:

1. The Mage in Black by Jaye Wells
2. The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
3. Harmonic Feedback by Tara Kelly [Review TK]
4. Bloody Jack (audiobook) by L. A. Meyer
5. Loving a Lost Lord (ebook) by Mary Jo Putney
6. Baby Bonanza (ebook) by Maureen Child
7. Vegan Virgin Valentine by Carolyn Mackler
